From the collaboration between VI.VA. Participation and Solidarity APS and Serafico Institute of Assisi comes “ECOSTORIES, Green readings and accessible nature walks.” An event of environmentally themed readings immersed in the beautiful setting of the Sensory Park of the Seraphic Institute of Assisi.
The event is free and accessible to all: young people, families with children, strollers and any mobility support device, such as wheelchairs and baby carriages. The LIS Interpreter will be present who will translate the Ecostories into Italian Sign Language for deaf people. Our youth will be featured with read alouds and the creation of a Green Gadget to be donated to participants.
The event is part of the preparation activities for the G7 on Inclusion and Disability and is organized by VI.VA. Participation and Solidarity APS in collaboration with the Seraphic Institute of Assisi. The initiative has obtained the “Umbria Culture for Family” Seal and the Patronage of the City of Assisi, Cesvol Umbria, ENS – Ente Nazionale Sordi Perugia, with the support of the Perugia Foundation.
For the occasion, it will be possible to reach the Serafico Sensory Park by renting an e-bike at the price of €15.00. Those interested can pick up the e-bike at VI.VA.’s CicloStazione in Piazza Dante Alighieri, Santa Maria degli Angeli from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and reach the Sensory Park in the company of a guide.
