Mobility and transportation

On high tourist flow days (indicated in red in the 'ZTL Calendar'), on an experimental basis, a new free service is available in Assisi for visitors with motor disabilities and their companions. The aim is to facilitate accessibility to the city's main points of interest.

In the 2024 Traffic Calendar, the days with the greatest number of tourists and some extraordinary events are highlighted. The calendar also indicates the days and times when the ZTL is closed, as well as those when the shuttle service is active from the Santa Maria degli Angeli parking areas to the historic centre. The aforementioned Calendar is updated throughout the year, as required, and is always available on this site.
